馬太福音Matthew C12

安息日的主 Lord of the Sabbath

12:1 那時，耶穌在安息日從麥地經過。他的門徒餓了，就掐起麥穗來吃。At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick some heads of grain and eat them.

12:2 法利賽人看見，就對耶穌說：「看哪，你的門徒做安息日不可做的事了！」 When the Pharisees saw this, they said to him, “Look! Your disciples are doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath.”

12:3 耶穌對他們說：「經上記著大衛和跟從他的人飢餓之時所做的事，你們沒有念過嗎？He answered, “Haven't you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry?【大衛飢餓連陳設餅都在吃-- David was so hungry that he even ate the consecrated bread】

12:4 他怎麼進了神的殿，吃了陳設餅，這餅不是他和跟從他的人可以吃得，惟獨祭司才可以吃。He entered the house of God, and he and his companions ate the consecrated bread--which was not lawful for them to do, but only for the priests.【Consecrated--獻給神】

12:5 再者，律法上所記的，當安息日，祭司在殿裡犯了安息日還是沒有罪，你們沒有念過嗎？ Or haven't you read in the Law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple desecrate the day and yet are innocent?

12:6 但我告訴你們，在這裡有一人比殿更大。 I tell you that one (Or something; also in verses 41 and 42) greater than the temple is here.

12:7 『我喜愛憐恤，不喜愛祭祀。』你們若明白這話的意思，就不將無罪的當作有罪的了。 If you had known what these words mean, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice,’ (Hosea 6:6) you would not have condemned the innocent.

12:8 因為人子是安息日的主。」For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.”

12:9 耶穌離開那地方，進了一個會堂。Going on from that place, he went into their synagogue,

12:10 那裡有一個人枯乾了一隻手。有人問耶穌說：「安息日治病可以不可以？」意思是要控告他。and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, they asked him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”

12:11 耶穌說：「你們中間誰有一隻羊，安息日掉在坑裡，不把牠抓住，拉上來呢？He said to them, “If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out?

12:12 人比羊何等貴重呢！所以，在安息日做善事是可以的。」 How much more valuable is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”

12:13 於是對那人說：「伸出手來！」他把手一伸，手就復了原，和那隻手一樣。 Then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” So he stretched it out and it was completely restored, just as sound as the other.

12:14 法利賽人出去，商議怎樣可以除滅耶穌。 But the Pharisees went out and plotted how they might kill Jesus.

神所揀選的僕人 God’s Chosen Servant

12:15 耶穌知道了，就離開那裡，有許多人跟著他。他把其中有病的人都治好了；Aware of this, Jesus withdrew from that place. Many followed him, and he healed all their sick,

12:16 又囑咐他們，不要給他傳名。warning them not to tell who he was.

12:17 這是要應驗先知以賽亞的話，說：This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:

12:18 「看哪！我的僕人，我所揀選，所親愛，心裡所喜悅的，我要將我的靈賜給他；他必將公理傳給外邦。“Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations.

12:19 他不爭競，不喧嚷；街上也沒有人聽見他的聲音。He will not quarrel or cry out; no one will hear his voice in the streets.

12:20 壓傷的蘆葦，他不折斷；將殘的燈火，他不吹滅；等他施行公理，叫公理得勝。 A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he leads justice to victory.

12:21 外邦人都要仰望他的名。」 In his name the nations will put their hope.” (Isaiah 42:1-4)

12:22 當下，有人將一個被鬼附著、又瞎又啞的人帶到耶穌那裡，耶穌就醫治他，甚至那啞吧又能能話，又能看見。 Then they brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute, and Jesus healed him, so that he could both talk and see.

12:23 眾人都驚奇，說：「這不是大衛的子孫嗎？」 All the people were astonished and said, “Could this be the Son of David?”

12:24 但法利賽人聽見，就說：「這個人趕鬼，無非是靠著鬼王別西卜啊。」 But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “It is only by Beelzebub, (Greek: Beelzebub or Beelzeboul; also in verse 27) the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons.”

12:25 耶穌知道他們的意念，就對他們說：「凡一國自相紛爭，就成為荒場；一城一家自相紛爭，必站立不住；Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.

12:26 若撒但趕逐撒但，就是自相紛爭，他的國怎能站得住呢？If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand?

12:27 我若靠著別西卜趕鬼，你們的子弟趕鬼又靠著誰呢？這樣，他們就要斷定你們的是非。And if I drive out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges.

12:28 我若靠著神的靈趕鬼，這就是神的國臨到你們了。But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

12:29 人怎能進壯士家裡，搶奪他的家具呢？除非先捆住那壯士，才可以搶奪他的家財。 “Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man's house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can rob his house.

12:30 不與我相合的，就是敵我的；不同我收聚的，就是分散的。」 “He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters.

12:31 所以我告訴你們：「人一切的罪和褻瀆的話都可得赦免，惟獨褻瀆聖靈，總不得赦免。 And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.

12:32 凡說話干犯人子的，還可得赦免；惟獨說話干犯聖靈的，今世來世總不得赦免。」 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

12:33 「你們或以為樹好，果子也好；樹壞，果子也壞；因為看果子就可以知道樹。 “Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit.

12:34 毒蛇的種類！你們既是惡人，怎能說出好話來呢？因為心裡所充滿的，口裡就說出來。You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.

12:35 善人從他心裡所存的善就發出善來；惡人從他心裡所存的惡就發出惡來。The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.

12:36 我又告訴你們，凡人所說的閒話，當審判的日子，必要句句供出來； But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken.

12:37 因為要憑你的話定你為義，也要憑你的話定你有罪。」 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”

12:38 當時，有幾個文士和法利賽人對耶穌說：「夫子，我們願意你顯個神蹟給我們看。」 Then some of the Pharisees and teachers of the law said to him, “Teacher, we want to see a miraculous sign from you.”

12:39 耶穌回答說：「一個邪惡淫亂的世代求看神蹟，除了先知約拿的神蹟以外，再沒有神蹟給他們看。He answered, “A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.

12:40 約拿三日三夜在大魚肚腹中，人子也要這樣三日三夜在地裡頭。 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

12:41 當審判的時候，尼尼微人要起來定這世代的罪，因為尼尼微人聽了約拿所傳的就悔改了。看哪，在這裡有一人比約拿更大！The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now one (Or something; also in verse 42) greater than Jonah is here.

12:42 當審判的時候，南方的女王要起來定這世代的罪，因為她從地極而來，要聽所羅門的智慧話。看哪！在這裡有一人比所羅門更大。」The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon's wisdom, and now one greater than Solomon is here.

12:43 「污鬼離了人身，就在無水之地過來過去，尋求安歇之處，卻尋不著。 “When an evil (Greek: unclean) spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it.【arid places--乾旱的地方】

12:44 於是說：『我要回到我所出來的屋裡去。』到了，就看見裡面空閒，打掃乾淨，修飾好了， Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order.

12:45 便去另帶了七個比自己更惡的鬼來，都進去住在那裡。那人末後的景況比先前更不好了。這邪惡的世代也要如此。」 Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”

12:46 耶穌還對眾人說話的時候，不料他母親和他弟兄站在外邊，要與他說話。While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him.

12:47 有人告訴他說：「看哪，你母親和你弟兄站在外邊，要與你說話。」 Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.” (Some manuscripts do not have verse 47.)

12:48 他卻回答那人說：「誰是我的母親？誰是我的弟兄？」 He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?”

12:49 就伸手指著門徒，說：「看哪，我的母親，我的弟兄。 Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers.

12:50 凡遵行我天父旨意的人，就是我的弟兄姊妹和母親了。」 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”
